Avery White | Assistant Coach

Former SU standout Avery White '21 joined the men's basketball staff in January, 2022 as a part-time assistant.

White is involved in all aspects of the program including practice and game management, academic monitoring, player development, and recruiting.

Isaac Blue| Assistant Coach

Former University of Mary Washington standout Isaac Blue joined the men’s basketball staff in July, 2022.

 
Blue, a 2017 UMW grad, came to Shenandoah after five seasons on the Marymount University staff. While at Marymount, Blue helped the Saints to three 17-win seasons in the four years of championship play with the 2021-22 squad advancing to the Atlantic East championship.
 
The 2018-19 team, which finished 17-13, qualified for an ECAC Tournament berth and advanced to the quarterfinals of that tournament.
 
As a player, Blue was part of the 2014 Eagles squad that advanced to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight after winning a Capital Athletic Conference championship.
 
In his senior year, Blue transitioned to a student assistant role under coach Marcus Kahn. In this position, he assisted the coaching staff with all aspects of running the program.
 
Blue also has extensive coaching experience at the youth and AAU levels as well as with private lessons.
 
With the Hornets, Blue is involved in all aspects of the program including practice and game management, player development, recruiting, and academic monitoring.
